At only 13 days new, this little Miss Hadley Sue was quite a little ball of fire. She was so sweet and tiny and looked as innocent as could be, until I got out my camera. I must have scared her away, but with a lot of help from her Daddy, we managed to get a few good shots. :) hehe Enjoy!

Boy oh boy, I don't even know where to start. Emily is one of my best friends and I couldn't have asked for a better photo shoot or a more stunning model to work with. I am very honored to be chosen to capture her most special day in her life for her and Josh with my photos. Not to be biased or anything, but Emily and Josh have definitely made this a top shoot in my book. Love them both dearly and I sure can't wait util the big day. :)

A while back an old high school mate sent me a message hoping and wishing that I had the highly popular date 9-10-11 available.. sure enough she was the first to ask me about it, she booked me fast and sure enough more more inquires followed for that date. It was nice to be able to share it with someone I went to school with and haven't seen in several years since we've graduated and each have moved out of the school area and grown up and created our own adult lives. Congrats to Mike and Ashley and their 2 beautiful little children, I wish you all the best!

Wow... CJ and Jamie have taken the top of my list of the most fun and entertaining couple that I've ever shot. They had me rolling all day long, and there was never a dull moment - you'll see! I absolutely had a great time shooting their wedding July 30th, and got to see a lot of wonderful people again. I was introduced to Jamie last year when her sister Tracy hired me to shoot her wedding. Thank you guys so much for having me be a part of your special day - it's always a pleasure to have fun while working! :)

I love being able to take photographs of friends and capture their memories for them. When my friend Danny came to me to ask about shooting his wedding, I was pumped. I love being able to be "myself" when photographing people I know. It just makes things so much easier and fun! I know Danny and Amanda had a good time as well with this shoot. I definitely can't wait until September to capture their big day!

There may be a bit too many photos I'm going to post below, but bear with me.. Sarah and Derek were such a cute couple. Their ceremony and reception venue was this really neat barn [Barn N Bunk] that has been restored and turned into a restaurant and reception venue, but antiques trinkets and farming pieces remained. We started out in downtown Hamilton where Derek grew up and traveled up to Trenton for the remainder of the day. Enjoy!

I had a blast shooting Jamie and CJ today in downtown Cincinnati. I recently photographed Jamie's sister's engagement session and wedding last month (Seth and Tracy), and I was so excited when a few days ago Jamie emailed me and said "Good news, we want you to photograph our wedding next year!". I was even more excited when they said they wanted to do their engagement session downtown with an urban look.

Seth and Tracy have been apart for awhile while each of them have been finishing up their doctorates in separate states, but they have finally been reunited! With their beautiful outdoor ceremony and reception at the Krippendorf Lodge, I felt like I was at an Orange County wedding, in Cincinnati! Congratulations guys, I had a blast with you.

Special tribute to these furry studs who put up with the costumes and dresses during the preparation fun. I can't remember their names, but lets just say they are both boys. hehehe :)

If you follow my blog at all, you probably recognize the following family. I've been privileged enough to keep getting to photograph the Warner family over and over. I met Damon a few years ago while working at BMW, and him and his wife Sandi had their son right when I was graduating from school. They even came to my graduation party with a newborn, to show their support for me. They trusted me and wanted to give me a chance to learn about photographing kids and families. So, thank you guys, because without you giving me the chance to show my stuff and learn from your family, I wouldn't be where I am today.

I met Ed about 7 years while on a bowling league with some friends, and as we each graduated from high school and whatnot we lost touch. Then, about 2 years ago I ran into him again while he was working and in conversation about our current lives, he told me he was engaged and sure enough that was right after I had graduated from photography school, and you know how the rest of the story goes (Oh yea, and while planning our photography, I got a new friend out of it- Bridget!!). So, the day came on July 3rd, and after 3-1/2 years of engagement Ed and Bridget finally got to celebrate their love, by saying "I do". Congratulations guys!

I absolutely had a blast shooting Emily and Chris on their wedding day. When Emily told me they were going to have sparklers to play with, I was probably more excited than they were! Brides and Grooms don't always want to see each other beforehand, and some don't care... but for Emily and Chris they wanted to get pictures done before the ceremony, so we set up a private "first look" session, which ALSO made me happy. haha All in all, a great day, great weather, great couple and great fun for everyone. Dale and Jadey - Covington, Kentucky Wedding

I wanted to share a few photos of Dale and Jadeys special day that took place at The Radisson Hotel in Covington, Kentucky. If you aren't familiar with this hotel, its a pretty cool place. Its a round hotel with a revolving restaurant on the top floor. Pretty sweet!! But also, since its neat round building, it had windows galore, AKA a photographers dream. I was in love with the natural window light, and barely needed to use a flash.

Dale and Jadey came up from Florida to get married in Covington, where her family is, and since we had only been communicating by email mostly, this was the first time I had actually got to meet them. We had many conversations over email and even became Facebook friends. I felt like I had already known them for years because Dale was so proud to tell me all about how they met, how great she is and everything else. So it was great to finally meet them, and just a few days later I was to shoot their wedding too. Their wedding photos post is to come next!

Although to most, today is the dreadful tax deadline day, to me it's the day my little baby was born. No, I don't have kids, so I'm one of those weirdos that claims their dog as their child, but hey... pets deserve as much love as your child does too, so why not!? :)

So finally for the first time, I got to photograph a family member! The newest addition to my family is my precious little baby cousin, Ella Marie. I just took these last night and she is almost 4 weeks old now. Still a sleepy and position-able baby. haha

I promise there was no babies harmed in the testing of this shot.. haha aww
